Larry Schnell and his wife, Doris live on an acreage near Frobisher ,Sask. They have 3 grown sons and 7 grandchildren. Larry has been chuckwagon racing for 30 years having started in 1976. 2 of his sons, Randy of Hudson Bay, Sask and Kelly of Estevan Sask. Are actively involved in chuckwagon racing. They started racing chariots at the age of 14. Larry is a director of the Manitoba Chuckwagon Ass'n and attends races throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba in the summer. He enjoyed the Finals in Vegreville, Alberta last year also. In the winter Larry and Doris go to Texas with the MacGilliurary Racing Circuit and race at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and the Houston Rodeo which they thoroughly enjoy. When Larry's not racing, he is a truck driver with the R.M. Moose Creek at Alameda, Saskatchewan.
