Ron Moar has been racing pony chariot and chuckwagon for the last 26 years. He is known to be competitive and has consistently placed in the Top 5 for the Manitoba Pony Chariot and Chuckwagon Assoc. He has also been on the MPCCA Board as a Director and Vice-President. At the present time, Ron is a Director for MPCCA. Now that Ron Is retiring from the Department of Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation (effective May 1, 2009), he hopes to be able to race in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta more often than he has been able to.
